It is highly commendable that the European Union keeps tabs on what the Palestinian Authority spends the aid it gets from them. But what is that worth when the PA blatantly lies about this in its reports to the PA?
Here is an example of how the PA lies abou the aid it gets from the EU (an presumedly form the US also!):
The EU commision in Israel that deals with the PA accurately says: "The PA has no control over its own borders ..."
Nonetheless, in 2022, the PA spent 164,856,230 NIS (€42,172,131) on its "General Authority for crossings and borders".
42 MILLION Euros in just ONE clause in their budget go to a dark hole where PA members can, for all we know, put into their private Swiss bank accounts!
