WATCH: Avichay Adraee bids farewell – The Arabic voice of Israel retires

After nearly two decades as the Israel Defense Forces’ Arabic-language spokesperson, Colonel Avichay Adraee retires, marking the end of an era for Israel’s Arabic outreach.

After 20 years in service, Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF Spokesperson in Arabic, is stepping down. Known as “the face of Israel in the Arab world.”

Adraee became one of the most recognizable Israeli figures across the Middle East — a voice that shaped Israel’s public diplomacy in Arabic during war and peace alike.
