Twelve Mossad employees were awarded commendation certificates this evening in recognition of their unique contributions and extraordinary operational activity in defense of the State of Israel.
Among the recipients were several operatives whose work significantly advanced Israel’s security across multiple arenas.
One honoree is a combat operative who served inside an enemy state and took part in complex, groundbreaking missions. These operations produced highly valuable and sensitive intelligence that played a major role in Israel’s multi-front campaign.
Another commendation was awarded to an officer responsible for recruiting and running agents. During his operational service, he successfully recruited and handled an agent who delivered what was described as “golden intelligence” from deep within the core secrets of an enemy state. This achievement required confronting exceptionally difficult operational challenges and dilemmas.
