The Hezbollah lawmaker warned that demands to return to the “resistance” could leave Lebanon in ruins if unleashed.
Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah delivered explicit threats against the Lebanese state during a televised appearance, declaring that “the people are not tired” and are demanding a return to the so-called resistance framework. He warned that if this anger were to “explode,” “there will be nothing left in Lebanon.”
Speaking on Al-Manar TV, Fadlallah said the Lebanese government should “thank God” that Hezbollah and the Amal Movement are exercising what he described as “such restraint.” He went further, telling Hezbollah’s rivals and government officials that they can “pack their clothes in a suitcase and leave,” underscoring the group’s willingness to use force and intimidation to dominate Lebanon’s political life.
