Defense Minister Benny Gantz met today (Wednesday) with the King of Jordan, Abdullah II.
At the meeting, Gantz emphasized the strategic importance of the close relations between Israel and Jordan, which contribute to the security of the two countries. The Minister of Defense and the King of Jordan discussed security and policy issues, and the Minister of Defense, Gantz, thanked the King for his efforts to maintain stability in the region and to strengthen peace and normalization. The Minister of Defense welcomed the improvement of relations between Israel and Jordan since the formation of the government, and expressed his commitment to further strengthen security, economic and civilian ties.
