The White House clarified this evening that it will not agree to a condition between Iran's return to the implementation of the nuclear agreement and the closure of the International Atomic Energy Agency's investigations into its suspected nuclear activities
Why this is important: Israel has expressed great concern in recent days that the US will put pressure on the IAEA to close the investigations against Iran in order to allow the return to the nuclear agreement.
"We have made it clear to the Iranians publicly that they must provide answers to the International Atomic Energy Agency's questions. This is the only way to address concerns about those suspicions. This position of ours is not going to change," said John Kirby, a senior member of the NSC at the White House.
