A series of reports published by Qatari and Qatari-linked media outlets reveal an unusually aggressive campaign against US President Donald Trump by officials, diplomats, journalists, and television personalities connected to Qatar.
Among the accusations:
- Qatar’s education minister reportedly described Trump as “shameless” and “irresponsible” after he shared an AI-generated image portraying himself in a Jesus-like style.
- An Al-Jazeera presenter reportedly wrote that Trump “belongs in a madhouse.”
- A former Qatari diplomat accused Trump of using Gulf countries to justify “crazy decisions” whose purpose was “destruction and vengeance.”
- London-based Qatari newspapers reportedly described Trump as “the world’s greatest criminal” and “the most dangerous man in the world.”
Some articles reportedly went even further, comparing Trump to dictators and warning that his leadership posed a threat to global stability.
