The militias of Iran that operated in the areas under the control of the Assad militia began to expand their operations to spread the Shia cult and transfer it to new areas around the capital Damascus, and especially to the city of Qudsiya and its suburbs.
The correspondent of the Orient Net news network in the rural areas of Damascus, Lait Hamza, said that a delegation of Iraqi personalities, which included Shia clerics, visited the city of Qadsiya, west of Damascus, last week.
He added that the delegation met with a number of prominent figures from the area and asked to visit some Iraqi Shiite families living in the area with a low profile, and they are very few in the neighborhoods of the city, mainly in the Al-Sharaqs neighborhood and the Al-Khayatin neighborhood.
