Following extensive Israeli strikes that neutralized much of Iran’s air defense network and severely damaged missile launch capabilities, US and Israeli forces are now shifting their focus to Iran’s remaining air force assets.
Footage from the operation shows US Central Command (CENTCOM) beginning a systematic hunt for Iranian fighter jets and other air force infrastructure. The effort comes after the Israeli Air Force—drawing on significant operational experience from the 12-day war in June 2025—successfully dismantled large parts of Iran’s air defense systems, leaving many of the country’s air bases exposed.
With Iranian airspace now far more vulnerable, US and Israeli forces are working to locate and destroy remaining aircraft before they can be deployed against Israel, US forces, or regional allies. Military analysts say targeting Iran’s fighter fleet is a logical next step after the collapse of its defensive umbrella.
The footage shows advanced surveillance, targeting, and strike coordination designed to detect Iranian aircraft and prevent them from being used in retaliation as the broader campaign against the Iranian regime continues.
