Tonight was a special event - the good-bye ceremony for outgoing Dadi Barnea who served in the Mossad for 30 years, the last 5 as chief of the Mossad during what probably have been the most important years of Israel's history.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the Mossad and issued a sharp warning to Iran, saying that anyone plotting evil against Israel must understand that he will fail — and that the price will be extremely heavy.
Speaking at a farewell event for outgoing Mossad chief Dedi Barnea, Netanyahu said Iran has already paid “a very, very heavy price,” adding that “the foundations of this regime of horrors in Iran have cracked.” He said the regime will not return to what it once was and declared: “Its end is to fall.”
Netanyahu also called the Mossad one of Israel’s greatest global brands, alongside Israel’s innovation in technology, defense industries, smart transportation, medicine and agriculture. He described the Mossad as a “lighthouse of human strength, technological sophistication and operational daring.”
