Israel has agreed to hold a follow-up meeting in Washington on Tuesday aimed at advancing a peace agreement with Lebanon, according to Israeli Ambassador to the US Dr. Yechiel Leiter.
However, Israel made clear it will not discuss any ceasefire with Hezbollah, emphasizing that the terrorist organization continues to attack Israel and remains the primary obstacle to achieving peace.
NEWSRAEL: WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT

This signals a strategic effort to isolate Hezbollah while pushing for a broader state-level agreement, potentially reshaping the balance of power in Lebanon and the region.
