Two British members of parliament, Euan Young and Avistan Mohammed, were denied admission to the State of Israel after they landed at Ben Gurion International Airport on Saturday, along with their two aides on a flight that arrived at 2:30 PM from Luton, England
They claimed that they arrived as part of an official delegation from parliament; however, Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority said this was not true, as no official in Israel acknowledged the arrival of the “said” delegation.
The Authority also said that, according to other passengers on the flight, the two MPs real intention for visiting Israel was to document Israeli security forces’ activities and to spread hate speech against Israel.
In light of the above, Israel’s Interior Minister Moshe Arbel decided to refuse entry to the four in accordance with the law and ordered they be expelled from the country.
