A wave of Israeli air force strikes has targeted six major Iranian military airports, destroying multiple aircraft and damaging key infrastructure used by the Iranian regime.
According to Israeli military sources, the strikes hit several central air bases used by the Iranian armed forces. Among the aircraft destroyed were planes belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force as well as Iranian combat helicopters.
Runways and air defense detection systems designed to counter Israeli aircraft operating over Iran were also targeted in the operation.
The airports reportedly served as major logistical hubs used by the Iranian regime to arm and fund terrorist proxies across the Middle East, including Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthi terrorist regime.
