The Portuguese media reported today (Saturday) that the authorities have prevented the realization of a deal for the sale of the estate of the Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, worth 10 million euros. 

The registration of the estate at the resort of Quinta do Lago was frozen on March 25, about a month after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. 

Abramovich received Portuguese citizenship about a year ago, by virtue of the law granting citizenship to Jews descendants of deportation in the 15th century.
