Video footage shows the moment Israeli Air Force jets struck two buildings in the town of Sahmar, located in Lebanon's western Bekaa Valley, earlier today.
An additional report from Gaza: IDF forces eliminated Islamic Jihad commander Ashraf Al-Khatib in the Nuseirat area.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that the targeted structures were Hezbollah military infrastructure, which the group was allegedly using in violation of the existing ceasefire to rebuild prohibited activities in the area. Prior to the strike, the IDF's Arabic-language spokesperson issued an evacuation warning to residents of the marked buildings and nearby structures, urging them to move at least 300 meters away for their safety.
According to IDF protocol and statements, precautions were taken to minimize civilian risk before carrying out the operation.
