Military cooperation with Ukraine is increasing. A secret visit by an Israeli delegation met with Ukrainian expert on the topic of defense against suicide drones.
According to information from knowledgeable sources obtained by the news site Political Keys, it appears that the relations between the security services in Israel and Ukraine are getting tighter as the two sides grow closer and cooperation between them includes the exchange of strategic intelligence information and the transfer of anti-drone technology in order to confront their common enemies, Russia and Iran.
According to the same sources, a delegation of Israeli military officers specializing in air defense visited the capital of Ukraine, Kiev, about ten days ago. The details of the visit were not revealed, but the sources reported that the delegation came to study Ukraine's methods of dealing with Russian suicide drones on the frontline.
CHALLENGES OF SUICIDE DRONES FOR BOTH SIDES
Israeli air defense systems are highly effective at intercepting missiles, but they have difficulty dealing with suicide drones used by militias such as Hezbollah. On October 14, an Iranian suicide drone penetrated the Israeli air defense systems and hit a military base, leading to several dead soldiers.
