Israel is not at war with the Lebanese people. It is fighting an Iranian-backed terrorist army that has embedded itself inside Lebanon, built a military force stronger than the Lebanese state, and turned both Lebanese and Israeli civilians into collateral damage.

Since October 8, 2023, Hezbollah has fired rockets, drones, mortars, and anti-tank missiles at northern Israel, forcing tens of thousands of Israeli civilians from their homes and turning border communities into targets.

This is not simply “Israel vs. Lebanon.”
