A terror group in Gaza is accusing Israel of operating deep inside the Strip and eliminating one of its senior commanders.
The military wing of the Gaza-based terror organization Palestinian Popular Resistance Committees announced today that a unit of “Israeli special forces” allegedly infiltrated central Gaza and assassinated a top figure.
According to the group, the man killed was Wasim Abd al-Baset Abd al-Hadi, known as Abu al-Abed.
In its statement, the organization said Abd al-Hadi played a “prominent role in numerous jihadist missions during the al-Aqsa Flood campaign” and worked closely with operatives from multiple factions to create what it called a “unified image of joint jihadist action.”
