Tel Aviv hospital to get one-stop facility for breast cancer in 2024

Ruth Monicka Parasol and The Parasol Foundation Trust announced a donation of $3.5M to fund vital research and create a new multidisciplinary center for the comprehensive treatment of women with breast cancer.

The Parasol Foundation Women's Breast Cancer Center for diagnosis, research and treatment will operate within the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (TASMC).

The innovative center will be a one-stop facility for women with breast cancer. Keren Marenbakh Lamin and Noa Keren will lead the research, with 20 women physicians will receive Parasol Foundation research grants to conduct pioneering research into breast and ovarian cancer.

"With this donation, we're helping TASMC offer the best possible breast cancer care today and funding innovative female-led research to make sure there are even better treatment options for future generations of women," Parasol said.
