G7 foreign ministers condemn Iran's attack on Mercer Street commercial cargo ship last week, and say that all of the evidence points out that Iran is clearly responsible for the attack. "This was a planned, deliberate attack, and a clear violation of international law", say the foreign ministers in a shared statement. "Iran's behavior, next to its support of armed groups, threaten international peace and safety. We are calling Iran to stop all steps that are not in unison with the UN Security Council."
