As the Iron Swords War in Gaza continues, a group of 26 new immigrants from France landed in Israel on Wednesday. They came on a special flight arranged by the Jewish Agency and the Ministry of Immigration and Absorption.
Most of the immigrants on the flight were young people between the ages of 18 and 35. The youngest immigrant was a one-year-old toddler who came to Israel with her two-year-old sister and her two parents.
The oldest immigrant is 80 years old and came to Israel with his 72-year-old wife.
Upon their arrival, the immigrants were received at the airport by the Minister of Immigration and Absorption Ofir Sofer and the Chairman of the Jewish Agency Doron Almog.
Miriam, a student immigrating to Jerusalem with her two friends, said, “Despite the tensions, we are happy to do it, become Israeli citizens and start our lives in Israel.”
