The American Congress recently held a special debate on the ongoing efforts of the Chinese Communist Party to undermine the United States economically and politically, and some argue that the final goal of the Chinese regime is more significant than this.
"The goal of the Chinese Communist Party is to change our way of life, to control and change our way of life," Marie Kissel, a former adviser to the US Secretary of State, says in the discussion.
Former congressman from the Democratic Party, Tom Malinowski stated in the debate:
It is essential to remember what China is trying to achieve, the ends as well as the means - which is to increase our differences and create political paralysis... so that we waste our strengths... so that our government cannot act and meet our challenges.
