The Chief of Staff, Major General Eyal Zamir, convened today (Monday) an operational forum with the participation of all operational unit commanders ranked Lieutenant Colonel and above, as well as the senior command forum of the IDF.
The forum is convening for the first time since the Chief of Staff took office, against the backdrop of the changing operational situation in the Gaza Strip, two years into the fighting and the process of strengthening the foundations and routines currently being carried out in the IDF.
The IDF Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, addressed the IDF Combat Commanders’ Forum during the “Facing Forward” conference:
“We gather here today, two years on, as we reach a significant crossroads in the fighting. From the great failure of October 7, we have achieved tremendous, multi-front successes.”
