In a rare move, Hamas rejected Iran's claim that the invasion of Israel was revenge for the assassination of Soleimani
The extremist organization Hamas, declared a terrorist organization by the United States and Europe and supported financially, logistically and spiritually by Iran rejected on Wednesday, December 27, the statements of the spokesman of the Revolutionary Guards.
A Hamas statement contrary to the words of Iran's leaders is a rare thing.
Hamas denied the statement of the spokesman of the Revolutionary Guards, Ramzan Sharif, who said on Wednesday morning: "Hamas' attack on Israel, in the "Alaqsa Storm" operation, was a revenge reaction to the killing of Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force.
The Iranian media quoted Ramzan Sharif as saying that the "Alaqsa Storm" (the name Hamas gave to the attack on Israel) was "one of the revenges for the killing of Qassem Seliani".
However, Hamas responded with a message: "We have repeatedly emphasized our motives and in particular we have pointed out the dangers to the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
And they added that every action of the "Palestinian resistance" is "a response to the occupation and aggression against the Palestinian nation and the holy places."
The Islamic Republic of Iran and the spokesman for the Revolutionary Guards have not yet responded to Hamas' response.
