IDF in a special statement for the Druze holiday Al-Khader (Elijah the Prophet)

IDF spokesman unit sent out a special statement in honor of the Druze soldiers and today's holiday with a special blessing!

"Happy Holidays to our brothers, members of the Druze community, on the occasion of Al-Khader (Elijah the Prophet)

On this day, we dedicate to the dear sons, the heroes of the land, a prayer to Elijah the prophet, that he will protect the souls of the fallen and the sons who fight in the battle."

NEWSRAEL: Israel takes pride in the special connection the Israeli Jews and Druze have proven so many times over.

Years ago I fought on behalf of Druze soldier Omar Saoud, abducted and killed by hezbollah in 2000. Does anyone know his wife and 2 children
