Conservative commentator argues that Islamic doctrine conflicts with core principles of Western civilization.
In this video, the murdered Charlie Kirk asked this young Muslim woman a simple, but maybe the most important question to ask any Islamist: "What is the best model for a Muslim country?" Notice she cannot come up with one.
Kirk states that Islam, as a belief system and governing framework, is fundamentally incompatible with Western values such as individual liberty, freedom of speech, equality under the law, and separation of religion and state. He argues that while individuals who practice Islam may live peacefully in Western societies, the religious and legal foundations of Islam are, in his view, at odds with constitutional democracy.
Kirk contrasts what he describes as Judeo-Christian underpinnings of the West with Islamic jurisprudence, asserting that Western societies are built on individual rights and limited government, whereas Islamic governance is rooted in religious law. He maintains that mass immigration from Muslim-majority countries without cultural assimilation poses long-term challenges to social cohesion and national identity.
