Hezbollah terrorists killed while trying to plant bombs; dozens of anti-tank missiles found in south Lebanon
Overnight, Givati Brigade troops operating under the 91st Division identified Hezbollah terrorists attempting to plant explosive devices and launch mortar shells at IDF forces in southern Lebanon. In a rapid response, the troops on the ground opened fire and eliminated the terrorists before the attack could be carried out. No Israeli forces were wounded in the incident.
In a separate operational success, brigade forces located a Hezbollah weapons warehouse in southern Lebanon containing dozens of anti-tank missiles, grenades, and explosive materials intended for use against IDF troops. The discovery highlights the continued effort by Hezbollah to maintain offensive capabilities near the border even as Israeli forces keep pressing to remove immediate threats from the area.
