The Bible says the first humans were created less than 6,000 years ago.
Not true. Science has found human bones that are 230,000 years old. Did Genesis get it wrong, or are you missing the real story?
Here are the facts. The oldest modern human remains, Omo 1 in Ethiopia, are about 230,000 years old. How does that fit with Genesis?
Here's the twist. Jewish tradition never said Adam was the first homo sapien.
The Talmud says there were 974 generations before Adam. Do the math. If a generation is 25 years, that's 25,000 years.
If you use the biblical lifespans in the book of Genesis, about 130 years per generation, that's 126,000 years. That lines up with science.
So, who was Adam? Not the first body, but the first being with a soul.
That's what Genesis 2:7 means when it says God breathed life into man.
