Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel has arrived in South Sudan for the first official visit by an Israeli government representative to the country. During the visit, Israel and the Republic of South Sudan signed a memorandum of understanding to hold bilateral consultations between their foreign ministries.
According to Haskel, the agreement aims to strengthen political dialogue, advance cooperation in the fields of economy, development, security, science and culture, and deepen collaboration in the international arena.
