Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly condemned the violent riots that broke out in Bnei Brak targeting female IDF soldiers and Israel Police officers.
In a firm statement, Netanyahu described the incidents as the actions of an extremist minority that does not represent the broader ultra-Orthodox community. He called the violence a “serious and unacceptable matter,” making clear that the state will not tolerate such behavior.
“We will not allow anarchy, and we will not tolerate any harm to IDF soldiers and security forces who carry out their duties with dedication and determination,” he declared.
The prime minister’s remarks underscore the government’s position that attacks on members of the Israel Defense Forces and law enforcement cross a red line, regardless of the perpetrators’ background.
