The transitional government in Syria has launched a major operation to collect illegal weapons in the country, and Al-Julani announced the dissolution of all factions and the collection of weapons from the Kurdish minority as well.
At the same time, the transitional government is preparing to establish a new army with the help of the countries that are allies of the new regime
The new government in Syria, led by Abu Muhammad Al-Julani, has launched an operation to arrest and collect weapons in cities and villages in the Syrian coastal strip, where the Alawite community is concentrated, in order to locate activists of the former regime of Bashar Assad who are wanted in order to bring them to justice. They are suspected of committing war crimes during the Syrian civil war.
The operation is focused on the Latakia and Tartus cities, and is being conducted in coordination between the forces of the new rebel regime and dignitaries in the region.
