VIDEO NEWS REPORT: Le Pen's supporters claim trial is politically motivated
Supporters of Marine Le Pen took to the streets of Paris, the capital of France, claiming that her disqualification from running in the upcoming presidential elections is unjust.
This was after the Paris court convicted Le Pen and other members of her party, the "National Union", of embezzling European Union funds and sentenced her to a five-year ban from running for president of France, two years in prison, and an additional two years on probation.
Le Pen is currently leading in the polls for the French presidency.
