Iran International, the main opposition Iranian media (published in the UK) reports that Iran's exiled prince Reza Pahlavi, calls on Western countries to not legitimize the Iranian "elections"
He pointed out that the ballot box in the Islamic Republic has always been a tool for deception and to legitimize an illegitimate regime, referring to the 1979 referendum to establish the Islamic Republic.
"Iranians have once again rejected the Islamic Republic in its entirety by not participating in its election circus," he said on his X account.
Make no mistake, no matter what show the regime puts on for Western media, how many people it busses in from different parts of the country for cameras to show high participation, and how many false voting figures it releases, these so-called elections have sealed Khamenei’s fate and highlighted the chasm between the people of Iran and their repressive rulers, who are at odds with them on almost every issue.
The people of Iran want prosperity, freedom, secularism and the chance to live in peace as part of the international community, and they know that none of these aspirations are possible with this regime in place.
