IDF forces in the Southern Command, under the direction of Military Intelligence and Shin Bet, continue fighting against terrorist organizations throughout the Gaza Strip.

Divisions 162 and 98 are expanding their activities in Gaza City as part of Operation 'Gideon's Chariots II', destroying the infrastructure of terrorist organizations in the Strip and eliminating many terrorists.

Yesterday (Wednesday), an Air Force aircraft, under the direction of Division 98 and Shin Bet forces, attacked a Hamas weapons depot in the Gaza City area, where charges intended for use against IDF forces operating in the area were stored.

Before the attack, steps were taken to reduce the chance of harming civilians as much as possible, including the use of precision weapons, aerial observations, and additional intelligence information.

At the same time, Gaza Division forces (143) continue to operate in Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, and in the past 24 hours have eliminated terrorists and destroyed dozens of military infrastructures, including observation devices and mines.
