Our special thanks though goes to the Israeli Air Force for sending two C130s that dropped 34 tons of fire retardant chemicals which stopped the spread of the fire therefore saving the Troodos mountain range and of course containing it.

The Cypriot authorities must now investigate and start arresting the culprits who caused the deaths of two pensioners and the destruction of 20 communities.
