Satellite images suggest Tehran is restoring key missile sites after heavy losses in its 12-day war with Israel.
Iran has reportedly begun rebuilding parts of its missile arsenal following significant damage sustained during its recent 12-day war with Israel. According to a German media report citing satellite imagery, Tehran is restoring missile production facilities, testing ranges, and launch systems that were hit in the fighting.
Particularly intensive reconstruction efforts are said to be underway at the Shahroud missile range and at the heavily damaged facility in Amad. The renewed activity includes structural repairs, movement of heavy equipment, and what appears to be preparation for renewed testing and manufacturing.
The reported military buildup comes as Iran continues negotiations with the United States. Tehran is seeking sanctions relief while attempting to limit discussions to its nuclear program. Washington, however, is insisting that any comprehensive agreement must also address Iran’s ballistic missile program and its support for terrorist groups across the Middle East.
