Senior Iranian officials denied media reports that talked about the imminent delivery of new Russian Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets to Iran.
The reports in the Iranian media that the country will receive the latest generation of Russian fighter jets in the coming days are not true, according to the Fararo news website.
The media referred to a report by the SNN news agency, which is close to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. The agency itself denied the report on its Telegram page after consulting with the Ministry of Defense.
The Iranian Ministry of Defense announced last year that the country had purchased Mi-28H attack helicopters and Yak-130 jets from Russia in addition to SU-35 fighter jets.
