The US envoy is set to meet Netanyahu amid rising regional tensions and warnings over Iran’s nuclear intentions.
Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East — including the possibility of US military action against Iran and the deployment of additional American forces to the region — senior Israeli officials confirm that US envoy Steve Witkoff is expected to arrive in Israel tomorrow for high-level talks.
Witkoff, who is visiting Israel alone, is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior officials. His visit is expected to focus on the second phase of the American plan for the Gaza Strip, as well as the growing possibility of a military confrontation with Iran.
Even before confirmation of Witkoff’s arrival, senior political sources in Jerusalem revealed that Israel has delivered a clear warning to the US administration regarding Iranian efforts to push Washington toward a limited nuclear agreement.
