28 suspects in blood feuds between families were arrested during the holiday days in the city of Rahat.
A few nights ago, an attempt at blood revenge was carried out as part of an ongoing feud. In the conflict area, a one-year-old toddler was injured in her home and evacuated for medical treatment; 4 suspects were arrested.
During police activity in the area, the forces encountered stone-throwing and attempts to prevent their intervention in the feud. As a result, dozens of fighters from the Sahar Brigade, Yoav, and Southern National Guard were dispatched, with the assistance of a helicopter from the Air Unit of the Israel Police, and raided the complexes of the involved families.
During the holiday days, as mentioned, 28 suspects were arrested in the city of Rahat for involvement in the feud and stone-throwing at the police officers; the activity is ongoing at this hour.
Rahat station commander, Deputy Superintendent Yona Yitzhak, who led the forces' activity: "Anyone who harms the normal routine of life of the normative residents will face the Israel Police."
