As of January 31, 2026, Israel has finalized an emergency plan to evacuate approximately 42,000 foreign tourists currently in the country, amid rising security tensions and growing concern over a possible escalation with Iran.
The plan was prepared by Israeli Ministry of Tourism and is designed to ensure an orderly and rapid response should Israel’s airspace be closed and commercial flights suspended.
