JPPI Survey of Israelis on Palestinian state, Jewish settlements

What does the Jewish public in Israel think about a solution to the Palestinian issue and the Jewish settlements in Judea & Samaria post-10/7?

58% agree with the statement "Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria create deterrence and contribute to the security of all Israeli citizens."

The majority (56%) of Jews in Israel disagree with the statement "The settlements in the territories are a burden on the IDF and harm the security of all Israeli citizens." About a third of Jews in Israel (35%) agree with this statement, meaning they think the settlements are a burden.

Judea and Samaria are Israel. sovereignty over the land and settle it like the Golan. Once done it’s a matter creating a government the allows Palestinians to live their towns under Israeli rule

I still find it hard to believe that 35% of Israelis are so out of touch with reality that they feel the settlements are a negative. At least they are in the minority.
