Defense Minister Gallant: 'Turkey is serving as an executive arm of Hamas'

Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant reacted to the arrest of Israeli soccer player Sagiv Yehezkel by Turkish authorities:

"When there was an earthquake in Turkey less than a year ago, Israel was the first to come and offer aid which saved the lives of many in eastern Turkey.

"The outrageous arrest of the soccer player Sagiv Yehezkel is an expression of hypocrisy and ungratefulness.

Through its actions, Turkey is serving as an executive arm of Hamas," Gallant stated.
