Ambassador Huckabee hosted Samaria Governor Yossi Dagan in his office in Jerusalem and fixed a mezuzah made of stones from Mt. Ebal at the entrance to the office.
A mezuzah is a Jewish religious object affixed to the doorposts of Jewish homes and sometimes businesses, fulfilling a biblical commandment found in Deuteronomy 6:9 and 11:20. The word "mezuzah" (Hebrew for "doorpost") refers to both the parchment scroll inside and the decorative case that holds it.
