The brigade's reserve fighters have completed their mission in the region and are now finishing their sixth round of combat and leaving the Gaza Strip. The brigade's forces will be replaced by the Jerusalem Brigade (16).
During their activities, they eliminated dozens of terrorists, located Hamas combat equipment and destroyed weapons, including: slingshots, mortars, shells, mines, rocket launchers and rockets intended for launch towards the territory of the State of Israel.
In addition, the forces destroyed hundreds of terrorist infrastructures, including several shafts leading to underground routes that were used by the terrorists to stay and carry out operations against IDF forces deployed in the area.
IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the outline of the ceasefire agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat.
