Israel attacked weapons and ammunition warehouses in Latakia Port, Syria, for the second time in several months
Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on several locations in the coastal city of Latakia in northwestern Syria on Thursday.
A correspondent for the official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) in Latakia reported that Israeli aircraft “attacked targets of the 110th Marine Brigade from the air in the vicinity of the White Port of Latakia, while the relevant authorities are working to ensure that there were no casualties in the areas attacked.”
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said, “Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike today (Thursday) at dawn targeting ammunition depots in the White Port in Latakia with at least six missiles, causing extensive material damage and destroying the ammunition depot… So far, no information has been received about casualties.”
