WATCH: COS Zamir in message to the Nation

One thing we can say about Chief of Staff Zamir is that he is not a talker, but a man of deeds. This is his first message to the nation since he entered his job as the head of the IDF.

Chief of Staff Zamir in a statement: "Citizens of Israel, I assure you - anyone who harms you will pay and will pay a heavy price everywhere and in every arena."

"We knew there would be prices and they illustrate the reason why we acted now before it was too late."
