Firefighters are operating at four main fire centers along the road, where heavy smoke has covered the area and police from the Samaria district are directing traffic. A fire investigator at the scene has so far identified ten separate ignition points, pointing to a coordinated arson pattern rather than a single accidental blaze.

In the Jordan Valley, firefighting planes from the Elad Squadron and a police helicopter are assisting ground crews, Nature and Parks Authority teams and local farmers near the Ein Sukot spring. Teams reported three active fire fronts and difficult terrain that in some areas makes ground firefighting almost impossible.

Firefighters have gained control of the blaze near Mount Bracha, but crews will remain in the area for final extinguishing operations. The incidents come after recent calls from Iran and Hamas urging residents of Judea and Samaria to intensify what they call the “uprising against the occupation.”
