Prior to US airstrikes, Iran reportedly warned President Donald Trump that any American attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities would draw a harsh response, including terrorist attacks inside the US by sleeper cells
Iran has threatened to carry out terrorist attacks inside the United States, utilizing sleeper cells of terrorists already present in the U.S. homeland, according to a report Monday morning.
A report by NBC News cited two U.S. officials who spoke on condition of anonymity, claiming that last week, Iran conveyed a message to President Donald Trump, warning that should he order the U.S. military to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, Iran would retaliate with terror attacks inside the U.S.
The message was reportedly relayed to Trump during the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Alberta, Canada.
