Bissan Barghouti, linked to terrorist group Samidoun, praises October 7 Hamas attacks at University Of Washington protest honoring students behind $1m vandalism:
'Long live the student intifada! As the empire declines and the old world dies, we declare our steadfastness on the path of liberation!'
At a May 8, 2025 protest in support of University of Washington students arrested for vandalizing an engineering lab on campus, Bissan Barghouti, a Masar Badil and Nidal Seattle activist linked to the U.S.-designated terrorist entity Samidoun, praised October 7 and the "Student Intifada," leading the crowd in chants of: "With our souls and our blood, we will redeem you, oh Palestine!"
An activist from Students United for Palestinian Equality & Return at the University of Washington (SUPER UW) stated that the vandalism was carried out in response to calls from students and "the resistance in Palestine."
He also led chants of "Long live the Intifada!" According to the University of Washington, the vandals caused $1 million in damage to the lab.
At an August, 2024 anti-Israel protest in Vancouver, Barghouti led chants of "long live October 7" and defended Samidoun International Coordinator Charlotte Kates for accepting an "Islamic human rights award" from Iran.
