IDF Spokesperson: The terrorist who murdered the late Jonathan Deutsch and led a terrorist cell that carried out several shooting attacks in the Gilboa area was eliminated, three additional terrorists were eliminated in the attack
An IAF aircraft, under intelligence and operational guidance from the Shin Bet, attacked and eliminated earlier today (Sunday) a terrorist cell that carried out several shooting attacks against communities in the Gilboa area.
The leader of the cell who was eliminated in the attack, Vayal Lakholah, 31, a resident of Kabatiya, carried out the shooting attack at the Mekhola Junction on August 11, 2024, in which the late Jonathan Deutsch was murdered and another Israeli citizen was injured.
After carrying out the attack, Vayal continued to operate in Jenin in order to recruit operatives and carry out additional attacks in the immediate future.
